Weight loss meal plans are tables or programs that set you a daily, weekly or monthly guide to the food you need to eat to enable you to live healthily and in many cases, lose weight.

But are they necessary?

Well they are good for you because when done properly they provide you with the essential vitamins and minerals your body requires for healthy living. They also help you to reduce weight naturally as they will have the correct amount of protein, fiber, low carbohydrates, fruits and vegetables and alike to enable your metabolism to start working correctly, bringing your body back in-line to a more natural, leaner state. Portions are correct and you feel less desire to stuff yourself.

That said, your weight loss meal plans should be set out independently and should not be used just because they are there. They should be set out with your hunger levels in mind and whatever you do when you decide you want to lose weight, DO NOT CRASH DIET. This is a major no-no as your body will want to go back to the way it was used to eating before hand because it has had no time to get used to the shock. You will also find you are hungry so often that you will sneak food, consider it cheating and mentally beat yourself up. This does nothing for your self esteem.
